Level 1: Foundation of Arabic Letters and Pronunciation

Introduction to Arabic Alphabet

In Level 1, students begin their journey by learning the full forms of the Arabic alphabet. They will practice writing and pronouncing each letter correctly, with a special focus on the Fatha sound (a short vowel sound).

Goals for Level 1

Students will master the pronunciation and writing of Arabic letters.
Interactive methods, such as arts, crafts, and games, will enhance the learning experience.

Level 2: Syllables, Recognizing Letters, and Expanding Sounds

Pronunciation of Syllables

Moving into Level 2, learners begin combining Arabic letters to form syllables, reinforcing their understanding of the Fatha sound. They will also be introduced to new sounds: Kasra (the sound beneath the letter) and Duma (the sound above the letter).

Goals for Level 2

Students will read and write syllables accurately.
They will be able to read simple words with Fatha, Kasra, and Duma sounds.

Level 3: Mastery Through Review and Introduction of New Elements

Madah of Alif, Waw, and Yaa

At this stage, students refine their skills by reviewing the material from previous levels. New elements, such as Madah (elongation) for Alif, Waw, and Yaa, are introduced.

Advanced Quran Reading

Students will engage in advanced Quranic reading exercises, reinforcing their fluency with the correct application of Fatha, Duma, and Kasra sounds.

Goals for Level 3

Understanding the Madah symbols and applying them while reading Quranic text.
Proficient reading of Quranic verses with correct pronunciation.

Level 4: Integration and Advanced Reading Skills

Suqoon, Lam Qamareyeh, Tanween, and Shaddah

Level 4 is the culmination of the course, where students consolidate everything they have learned. They will be introduced to Suqoon (absence of vowel sounds), Lam Qamareyeh (the special L sound), and the pronunciation of Tanween and Shaddah (when a letter is doubled).

Goals for Level 4

Proficiently read Quranic verses, applying all the phonetic rules learned.
Students will be equipped to read and comprehend the Quran with a deeper understanding of all language elements.
