This course follows a six-month structure, gradually building Tajweed mastery through interactive and engaging lessons.

Month 1: Introduction to Tajweed and Makharij Basics

Children begin by learning what Tajweed is and why it matters when reciting the Quran. They will study the points of articulation (Makharij) for Arabic letters with animated visuals and hands-on practice.

Month 2: Understanding Short Vowels and Sukoon

Students will explore Fatha, Kasrah, and Dhammah — the three short vowels in Arabic — and how they affect pronunciation. They will also be introduced to the concept of Sukoon, which adds clarity and rhythm to recitation.

Month 3: Noon Sakin and Tanween Rules

This month, students learn to apply rules such as Izhar, Idgham, Ikhfa, and Iqlab. These rules help them pronounce the letter Noon clearly when it appears with a sukoon or Tanween.

Month 4: Meem Sakin Rules, Ghunna, and Expressive Sounds

Children will dive into rules for Meem Sakin, like Ikhfa Shafawi and Idgham Shafawi, and the nasal sound called Ghunna. These rules bring beauty and expression to the child’s Quran recitation style.

Month 5: Mastering Madd and Qalqala Techniques

This month focuses on elongation rules such as Madd Asli, Madd Laazim, and Madd Munfasil. Students also learn to produce the echo-like sound called Qalqala, used with specific Arabic letters.

Month 6: Revision, Recitation Practice, and Final Assessment

During the final month, all rules are revised with group recitations and mock assessments. By the end, children will recite confidently and fluently, applying Tajweed correctly to various Quranic passages.
